Donald Trump has left for the US after a whirlwind four-day trip to Scotland.The president mixed business with pleasure in the "private visit", agreeing a major trade deal and meeting the UK and Scottish heads of government in between rounds of golf.

Before his 2016 election, President Trump correctly predicted that the forces animating Brexit would go beyond the United Kingdom. But now most Britons say Brexit was a mistake.

President Trump called the incident "a strange one,” when asked about it by reporters on Tuesday, July 29 as he wrapped up his foreign visit to Scotland.
