Additionally, regardless of spelling or pronunciation, slurs used for the purpose of hate or harassment are not allowed.

Apr 2, 2023 · Here's a partial workaround I noticed: At some point, at least in the Twitch app for iOS, they added an option when watching a stream for "Chat Only". To use it, start watching a stream or VOD, tap the Gear ⚙️ icon in the top right of the video controls overlay, and then choose the "Chat Only" option.

Nov 8, 2020 · at the point that it becomes pure chaos, it's more about the feeling of it as a whole, then of individual messages. i didn't really get it at first, and i still dont really participate in it, but it can be a lot of fun, when chat as a whole react to a streamer and start trolling them, it becomes a back and forth that can be pretty engaging.
