Today the 24 November 2025, the NUP presidential candidate held campaign activities in Kawempe North and Kawempe South. Prior to this, police and the Electoral Commission met with members of the organizing committee to agree on the candidate’s venues and routes. However, while at the NUP headquarters, security officers were attacked with stones, an act of violence that was repeated at Bwaise Roundabout and the campaign venue.
