Here’s my simple formula for painting IKEA furniture so it actually lasts (and the exact process I used on this shoe storage cabinet I hacked): 🤍 Light sand (don’t skip this). I used a 220-grit sanding block. 🤍 Clean it really well. 🤍 Prime with a bonding primer (this is the secret). DO NOT SKIP THIS STEP.
