I always prefer a good rebuild kit instead of replacing the whole assembly with a Junk Chinese Amazon carb. Don’t get me wrong I have had to use those in a pinch when a customer doesn’t have the original carb or already installed one of those. This is just what I prefer. Don’t waste your time and money on the cheap Amazon carbs. When needing carb work done in your machine buy a carb kit, clean the carb that comes in the machine and reinstall it. Amazon carbs do not work the same as a oem carb and you will spend more time and money fighting the carb than what you would spend having a shop clean and install a carb kit in the name brand oem carb.
