Today our #fieldtripfriday takes us to Heritage Park to see the M65 Atomic Cannon aka #atomicannie. It was manufactured in the U.S. and used by the #usarmy from 1955 to 1962 in W. Germany, S. Korea and Okinawa. Now some stats: caliber:280mm, yield:15-20 kilotons, weight:47 tons, length:84’, height:12.2’, width:16.1’, with a crew of 5-7 and a firing range of 20 miles.
